The UAE’s cybersecurity systems have effectively thwarted cyberattacks targeting 634 government and private entities, preventing potential data breaches. The UAE Cybersecurity Council confirmed that these threats were handled using global best practices, ensuring the nation’s digital security.
A cyber threat actor, rose87168, claimed responsibility for breaching Oracle Cloud’s SSO and LDAP systems, exposing six million global customer records. The attack impacted 140,000 entities worldwide, including 30 UAE government agencies and 13 private firms.
In response, the UAE activated emergency cybersecurity protocols, urging organizations to strengthen security frameworks, enhance access controls, and monitor digital activity. 2️⃣ Microsoft Launches AI-Powered Cybersecurity Tools

4️⃣ Maharashtra Cyber Recovers ₹90 Lakh from Whale Phishing Scam
Maharashtra's Cyber Department successfully froze ₹90 lakh stolen from a Bhiwandi travel agency after cybercriminals impersonated the owner on WhatsApp to deceive the accountant into making a fraudulent transfer. Quick reporting on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal enabled authorities to block the transaction.
In the last 48 hours, Maharashtra Cyber has prevented ₹1.475 crore in cyber fraud through its 24x7 Command and Control Centre in Navi Mumbai. Citizens can seek help via helplines 1930 and 1945.
